Forty Two

Yep thats right. This post is about nothing less than Life, the Universe and Everything. Last night I was at work, browsing the Internet (cause actually working while at work is for suckers). While poking around on the awesome Ted.com website I came across this video of a talk Physicist Brian Greene gave at TED in 2005 and I felt the need to share. In it he provides a fascinating explanation of Super String Theory, a theory that may finally give us the Unified Field Theory that Einstein spent the last 20 years of his life looking for. Check it out:

Unfortunately the LHC at CERN suffered a minor setback shortly after it came online last year so the experiments that Greene mentioned that might provide the first evidence of the validity of String theory have been delayed but on the bright side the delay may also have granted us a reprieve from Earth's destruction. :D

Cogito ergo sum

If no one reads a blog, does it exist? Why do blogs exist in the first place? Why did I find the Writer's Strike of 2007 so interesting? All questions that men through out history have been pondering since the begining of this blog entry. Somethings will forever remain a mystery I guess...

Meanwhile, I'm back baby! Why? Thats a good question. The short answer is that the night shift is boring and the slightly less short answer is that I wanted to brag about the coolest fraking baby on the planet--my nephew Rowan.
